Angel Angel Oak on Johns Islandisland
So many people in the park.
Quite impressive as we walked in.
The angel oak is a Southern live oak tree
located in Angel Oak Park
Specualted to be the oldest tree East
of the Mississippi River
and one of the most beautiful.
Bar rods and wood support the tree.
The tree may be as old as
1500 years but attempts have
failed to determine the actual age.
The tree stands 65 feet tall
the crown covers an area of
17,000 square feet.
The limb is 89 feet long.

Leaving the park, it felt likes parts of Puerto Rico we'de driven in.
